1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Tasha Tech LLC ("Tasha Tech," "we," "us," or "our"), a Virginia limited liability company that operates the TIYDE career discovery platform available at tiyde.org (the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using TIYDE, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Description of the Service

TIYDE is a career discovery platform that provides:

Free features:

Career quizzes and Quest simulations (2-hour interactive career experiences)
Volunteering opportunities and internships
Job search with intelligent matching
Personal journal and career reflections
Favorites (save jobs, volunteering, internships)

Pro features (subscription-based):

Resume analysis and skill gap identification
Personalized career pathway recommendations
Salary intelligence and credentials guidance
AI-powered skill evaluation

We do not provide: job placement services, guaranteed career outcomes, professional career counseling, legal, financial, medical, or mental health advice.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use TIYDE. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission. TIYDE is currently available to users in the United States.

5. Your Account

Provide accurate and complete information
Keep your password confidential
You are responsible for all activity under your account
One account per person — no sharing, selling, or transferring

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, inactivity over 12 months, fraud, or abuse.

6. Subscription and Billing

Free Tier: Access to Discover, Experiences, Jobs, Journal, and Favorites at no cost.

Pro Subscription:

Monthly: $4 per month
Annual: $39 per year

Prices are in US Dollars and do not include applicable taxes. All payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled.

7. Cancellation and Refund Policy

How to cancel: Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription.

When cancellation takes effect: Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.

Refund policy: Because TIYDE offers a free tier, refunds are generally not provided for completed billing periods. Exceptions:

Within 14 days of first charge for new subscribers
Technical issues preventing access to Pro features
Billing errors

Contact support@tiyde.org for refund requests.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not:

Create accounts using automated means
Access other users' accounts
Reverse engineer or decompile TIYDE
Post unlawful, harmful, or abusive content
Resell access to TIYDE or scrape data
Use bots, scripts, or automated systems
Use TIYDE in violation of applicable laws

9. Content

Your Content: Content you create (journal entries, notes, preferences) is yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it to provide the Service.

Our Content: Career descriptions, Quest simulations, UI elements, and branding are owned by Tasha Tech LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law.

Third-Party Content: Career data from O*NET, Bureau of Labor Statistics, CareerOneStop, and job postings from various sources. Attribution is provided where required.

10. Intellectual Property

"TIYDE" and related marks are trademarks of Tasha Tech LLC. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use TIYDE for its intended purposes.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

TIYDE provides career information for educational and exploratory purposes only. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, salary accuracy, or acceptance to programs. Always verify information from authoritative sources and consult qualified professionals.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TASHA TECH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 USD.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, contact legal@tiyde.org to try informal resolution.

Governing Law: Commonwealth of Virginia. Courts in Loudoun County, Virginia and the Eastern District of Virginia have exclusive jurisdiction.

Disputes will be resolved individually (no class actions). Claims must be filed within one year.

14. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through Account Settings or by emailing support@tiyde.org. We may terminate accounts for violations, non-payment, or with 30 days notice.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
